Belum Eco Resort is an eco-resort whereby we only offer the basic facilities. Customers are adviced that Belum Eco Resort can never get rid of insects, spiders, geckos, snakes etc from the wilderness, these are part and parcel of the eco-system and must be accepted if any one wants to go into nature.

The other important aspect of Mother Nature is its unpredictable change of conditions which in most cases are not suitable for the elderly, too young, and people with certain physical disability.

The following are some important facts which must be taken into consideration:

• Belum Eco-Resort is an eco resort providing basic facilities, we do not provide 4 star facility

• Customers must bring own towel, shampoo, tooth brush, jogging shoe, swimming costume, insects repellent, torch light and other essential personal consumables

• Currently there are no hot water and air conditioning facilities. At the "A" chalets only exhaust fan is available. Hot water is only available in the house boat.

• " A " chalet is having attached open air shower and sharing common toilets

• Only some ‘A" chalets have raise bed, most are having " tatami style " mattress on the flour

• Double storey house boats has 2 rooms and a common hall, sleeping are combine dormitory and double deck bed style with " tatami " mattress on floor

• Single storey chalet is 100% dormitory style stay with tatami style mattress on floor.

• For fishing, customers must bring their own fishing rod, gears and baits. Fishing around the island or houseboat is free, but must be catch and release.

• Only one complimentary banana boat ride is inclusive in our package, any subsequent ride will be charged according to our stipulated rates

• The privilege of an individual banana boat rides is not transferable, which means if any one in the group not using that banana ride, he or she cannot transfer to others in the group

• Fishing more than 2 hrs a day more is considered hard core and the client has to buy fishing time according to our attached rates.

• White water rafting activities is subject to water level constrain and is seasonal

• Any lost of activities due to adverse weather condition, unforeseen breakdown of transportation and force abortion of program to avoid dangerous animal encounter etc will not be substituted the next or following day

1. Booking shall be first come first serve, all confirmed booking must be accompanied with 30% deposit and booking form duly signed

2. All payment made to us must be clearly define for the specific group or individual and must be accompany with a bank in slip fax or email to us

3. Full payment must be settle 10 days before departure, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and confiscate the 30% deposit 6 days before departure

4. Payments can be made in the form of cash, cheque, on line or credit cards acceptable to the company, a supplement of 3.5 % is levied on all credit cards

5. All cancellation must be in writing and signed by the person in the booking form, after telephone confirmation a written confirmation is necessary

It is unlikely that we will have to make changes to your holiday, but as we do plan the arrangements many months in advance, sometimes we may need to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If a major change becomes necessary, we will inform you asap if there is time before your departure except where the major change arises due to reasons of force Majeure*, or if the package is cancelled because of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. We will pay compensation. Choose another holiday together with compensation on the scale shown below. Cancel your holiday in which case we will refund to you all the money you have paid to us.

• Force Majeure: refers to unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. Examples can include, but not limited to war, riot, natural disasters, fire, adverse weather conditions and unavoidable technical failure with transport or supply system.
